In December of 2019, Danielle Heller gathered several leaders in her home
to share an inspired vision that she knew would further strengthen the
communities of Southern California’s The Antelope Valley. As the CEO of
her own company, Kingdom Aligned Management, and its contributions to
The Valley through helping to maintain integral business and nonprofit
organizations, Miss Heller saw the need to strengthen her community
further.
These internal questions arose, “When business and nonprofit entities have
needed help, to maintain their function, who could they turn to that could
empathize with struggles that may arise? Besides the occasional
community acknowledgements of, ‘A job well done’, why not build a team
who will join in using their strengths and influence to maintain the
effectiveness of the businesses, and nonprofit organizations, and grant
more consistent acknowledgements of its peers?”
Well, due to the national and global health crisis which resulted in an
unfortunate halting of much movement and meetings into the next year, the
mapping of the vision was placed on hold. Many businesses were
discontinued through the inability to thrive during this time. Needless to say,
families were greatly affected due to the business closures and program
discontinuations.
This crisis and halt nevertheless, added greater insight and empathy into
the need for what had been accurately named in 2019 as, “The Joseph
Project.” The inspiration of this name was derived from a historical account of an
ancient Egyptian Hebrew slave who derived a plan, and saved the world’s
resources from a systemic crisis that he foresaw on the horizon.
In the Spring of 2022, the vision of “The Joseph Project”, resumed its
once delayed course, and now consists of a board of leaders (comprised of
business owners, community leaders and nonprofit organization directors),
who contribute to the success of businesses and nonprofit organizations
within The Antelope Valley and across the continental United States of
America.
Our organization began in Palmdale, CA and as of yet, does not have the
testimonial of “saving the world.” Notwithstanding, our determination is
(through financial support)- to strategically maintain the strength and
morale of those businesses and organizations that strengthen our
communities. We are honored to be: “THE JOSEPH PROJECT -
GRANTING Opportunities to Community Leaders Who Build.”
